Video Tutorial
Project Plan
My intention of this video tutorial was to help the students learn Photoshop skills (both very basic tools and advanced functions) step-by-step by creating a cool image, instead of learning the functions of each tool individually. People who try to self-teach Photoshop (or any other software) often tempt to learn each tools/functions first, but it’s very difficult way to fully understand the function. I think it’d be much more efficient to learn by exploring the tools while creating something interesting right away.

Reflection
Making this video tutorial was much more difficult than I thought it’d be. I talked throughout the process of screenshot recording without any script, because I thought it wouldn’t be so hard to free-talk while recording since I just need to say it out what I’m doing. This led myself to make mistakes while talking that I had to repeat the same thing over and over. Because I tried to point out every process, even the most basic shortcuts, I failed at adjusting the timeframe to 3-6 minutes, but I think detailed explanation would allow the students easy and clear to follow the process.
